We are take children who are eligible for 30 hour funding!
One of our parents applied for matched funding from her employer, Markel, for her contributions of time to our fundraising events. Markel kindly donated £750 and when the parent explained First Step's plans for developing its outdoor space for the children, they donated a further £2,500 for this project!!! This will make a fantastic dent in our fundraising target, so thank you Markel!
If any other parents/carers work for employers that operate matched funding or other community giving programs, we'd be delighted if you could consider getting involved in order to tap into that funding - see our fundraising page for more on this and other fundraising ideas.
